Langdale chase

Whilst on holiday in the lake district i stayed at the Langdale hotel and it was old and i found it creepy! with the old paintings.The foundation stone for the building itself was laid in 1890, and the house took some five years to complete. It was first opened as a hotel in 1930. However, there are artifacts in the hotel which date back as far as 1664.

Raby Castle Photos

I visited Raby castle and found it extremely interesting the depth of its history it has parts firstly made in the 11th century until the 16th century and has recently been refurbished.
